The University Lane

 

For five long years, I walked

along the shady University Lane

up to the Uni and

back home again

 

The Tamarind trees

On Uni Lane

giving me shade

All the time

 

Bending down to

Pick something to eat

Sometime sour

Sometime sweet

 

I stepped down the Uni lane

After 5 years

Heartbeat got stucked for a while

When I stopped to gaze

 

It was autumn

When we went away

Such goodbyes

We said

Still our hearts

Waving the bye
